As with all of our other Salt-Water Sandal styles the Retro Slide is made from our signature 100% waterproof leather and can be hand washed using warm water and a gentle detergent. Originally sold in the USA in the 1970s, we have updated the classic Retro from the archive collection into a modern and practical slider sandal. It has the same beautiful woven basket upper, 100% waterproof leather and volcanised rubber hand stitched sole but without the ankle strap - perfect for sliding on and off. This summer sandal is the ultimate poolside partner and will be sure to be your go-to poolside sliders.
The Retro Slide has a narrower fit than the Salt-Water Original and Classic Slide. As with all of our sandals the leather will 'give' naturally over time and can be worn in water to help speed up the process but we do not recommend for a wide foot. As with all sandals in the Salt-Water range we suggest that your toes sit behind the stitch line but make sure your heel is not hanging over the edge as there is no ankle strap.
